Save the Date... 2nd Annual South Florida Access-Life Expo February 18

Only one in ten people affected by disability attends church, so Access-Life has designed these FREE community outreach events to provide a time of Christ-centered encouragement, support, and fun for individuals and families living with disabilities. These events feature boat rides, bank-fishing, kayaking, archery, crafts, face painting, games, food, and other activities that are supported by area churches, organizations, and volunteers.

New Sunday School Class - Catholics and Protestants: Do the Differences Still Matter?

The Roman Catholic Church is comprised of more than a billion people worldwide. Has it changed since the 16th Century? Are evangelicals setting aside the truths of the Bible which were regained through the Reformation in order to foster ecumenism-a movement promoting unity among Christian churches or denominations? What is the official teaching of the Roman church regarding justification, grace, the sacraments, etc? Is the gospel according to Rome the gospel that saves? Are we really saying the same thing in a different way? Our prayer is that this class will help answer questions and equip the saints as we interact with Roman Catholics, many of whom are in our families.

The Book of Acts Sunday School Class in Spanish is sometimes called The Book of Acts of the Apostles. We just finished the gospel of Luke, and now we are ready to witness a new beginning-the coming of the Holy Spirit, the forming and persecution of the early church, the conversion of Paul, the miraculous spread of Christianity-and we'll find out how it all applies to Christians 21 centuries later on this side of Heaven. El libro de Hechos es a veces llamado el libro de "Los Hechos de los Apostoles" pero en realidad deberia ser llamado el libro de "Los Hechos del Espiritu Santo". Recientemente terminamos de estudiar el evangelio segun San Lucas, y estamos listos para ser testigos de un nuevo comienzo: la llegada del Espiritu Santo, la formacion y persecucion de la iglesia primitiva, la conversion de Pablo, y la milagrosa expansion del cristianismo... y descubriremos como se aplica todo ello a los cristianos que vivimos de este lado del cielo 21 siglos despues. Do You Travel and Collect Travel-size Shampoo and Other Grooming Items?

United Servants Abroad would like donations of these items to minister to the youth in Eleuthra, Bahamas. They provide them to a Christian lady, Adena, who ministers to teen girls by teaching them how to be ladies, how to be well groomed, have good manners and, at the same time, become women of faith in Jesus instead of following the past cycles. Adena's ministry lacks the means to purchase hygiene products. Your donations of small hotel bottles of creams, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, manicure items, or anything a teen girl would need, allows Adena to make small gift bags for them as part of her ministry.

Young Adult Group (YAG)-Single or Married

The desire for community is everywhere in all cultures because it is embedded into how we've been created. From the local coffee shop to social networking sites, Internet gaming, country clubs or sports, we all have an innate desire to belong. The question is not, "Will we engage in community?" Instead we ask, "What type of community will we engage in?" The YAG's desire is to gather together to hear the Gospel, to worship God, to learn who Christ is, to engage in thought-provoking discussion, and to do life together so that we would know and be known, and love and be loved.

We are studying the book of Mark. We meet at the Sturgis' home at 12377 Sawgrass Ct., Wellington from 7:30-9:30 pm every Tuesday night. Please come by and check us out. If you have any questions feel free to email Blake Masterman at email or Kyle Moore at email.

How to Pray for Your Missionaries

The apostle Paul was a man of prayer. He prayed for his many converts and for the new churches established under his ministry. He also asked those that were believers to pray for him. He wrote to the Corinthian believers, " ... you help us by your prayers " (II Corinthians 1:11). He literally begged believers to pray for him. "I urge you, brothers ... to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me" (Romans 15:30). Pray For Open Doors - "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ..." (Colossians 4:2,3)

Pray For Boldness In Witnessing - "Pray also for me...that words may be given so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel..." (Ephesians 6:19)

Pray That The Word Of God Will Have Free Course - "Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored." (II Thessalonians 3:1) Pray For Protection - "Pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith." (II Thessalonians 3:2) Pray Their Ministry Will Be Accepted By Believers - "Pray...that my service (ministry) in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints." (Romans 15:31) Pray For Divine Guidance And Assistance In Travel - "Pray...that by God's will I may come to you with joy…" (Romans 15:32) Pray For Refreshment - "Pray… that I may, together with you, be refreshed." (Romams 15:32b)
