WCS Outreach
Purpose of the WCS Outreach Team:
To serve as pace-setters, servant-leaders, and facilitators for WPC to develop and implement activities, audiences, and avenues for lovingly sharing Christ with unchurched families involved at Wellington Christian School.
Its responsibilities include:
• Leading the Christmas/Easter personal invitation outreach assisted by the Pastoral Staff.
• Compose and send (assisted by the Staff) Welcome Letters to all WCS families at both the start of the year and in conjunction with the Christmas/Easter personal invitation outreach. All letters should be proofed by both the Sr. Pastor and WCS Headmaster.
• Work with the Children's Ministry Team Leader to develop activities that can help WPC begin to develop relationships with unchurched WCS families. The goals would be to move them to our "front-door" of Sunday morning service.
• Work with the Student Ministries Team Leader to develop activities that can help WPC begin to develop relationships with unchurched WCS families. The goals would be to move them to our "front-door" of Sunday morning service.
• Work with the Pastoral Staff to take initiative to develop appropriate events and activities to move unchurched families towards attending our "front-door" of Sunday service.
We are committed to being guided by the Session and Pastoral Staff to fulfill that vision. In particular, we will set specific performance-oriented goals each year that will guide our plans and activities for the coming year.
- These goals will be specifically guided by the church-wide goals established annually by the Session and pastoral staff team.
- Our goals will be reviewed and guided by Session to help us better fit into the over-all priorities of the entire church for the coming year.
