Our Vision makes us passionate about…

• Gospel Community- We long to be a true community of Christ followers (disciples) that is built by the gospel and reflects the gospel. 
  • We want to be a community built by the gospel.  A community where the grace of God is bringing people to meet and believe in Jesus.  A community where that same grace of God builds Christ-like relationships that form us into a genuine community.
  • We want to be a community that reflects the gospel.  A community where the grace of God is reflected in relationships of love and service that show Christ’s love in word and deed to the world.

• Relevant Gospel Community- All our ministries strive to be understandable to people in the everyday context of their lives, yet go beyond the external to strive for heart-level change that is relevant for today and the rest of their lives.  The heart is our target!

 

• Relevant Gospel Community  by our “Connecting” process- We believe becoming a Christian and growing as a Christian are an on-going process of “connecting”-
  • We must first connect with Christ and all His benefits by faith.  This connection must continually be nurtured and deepened as the rest of the Christian life flows from its springs of grace.  Our Sunday worship services are the wellspring of this connection, and so place a premium on Christ-centered worship and preaching expressed in a welcoming community
  • This connection with Christ is most fully experienced when we connect in authentic relationships with one another.  We believe that no one should stand alone, and so we offer various small groups to encourage true spiritual friendships that deepen our walk with Christ and that move us into serving others through our spiritual gifts.
• As a community of disciples connected to Christ, we believe that He sends us to lovingly connect with the world  as His Kingdom ambassadors.  We seek to equip and encourage people to humbly invest in others and invite them to Christ and the church.

• A Relevant Gospel Community that deeply connects- We believe that ministries that focus on the Bible, the gospel of grace, and a historically Reformed and theologically thoughtful faith tradition are key in connecting people to Christ in life-changing ways that answer life’s pressing and profound questions.
