Hospitality

"Practice Hospitality" (Romans 12:13)

From special events to our continental breakfast during Sunday School hour to the Guest Luncheons at the Pastor's home, there are many places where hospitality is and can be practiced at Wellington Presbyterian Church.

In the near future we want this ministry to extend outward to our neighbors as well.

Hospitality Team Vision:

Remember Why We Do This—we want to be involved in the spreading of the TRUTH by creating a warm, inviting atmosphere of hospitality and fellowship for the sake of Christ and His coming Kingdom.

Serving on this Team includes:

  • Serve as pace-setters, servant-leaders, and facilitators of a trained team of Sunday Morning greeters.
  • Men and women of varying ages, etc. to organize and implement a guest friendly greeting to all aspects of WPC's Sunday Service.
  • Serve as pace-setters, servant-leaders, and facilitators of welcome/hospitality events for new guests.

These should include:

  • Assisting the Sr. Pastor's family with hosting monthly Guest Luncheons.
  • Conducting a monthly "Connecting with WPC" class during the Sunday School hour on the same Sunday of each month.
